The wind blew some dust into the sky as it whirled around. Sam went for the sheet of paper that flew away from his hand. He picked the paper containing the venue of the next day's party and direction.
He turned back to his way and bumped into Harry and his gang.
He smiled broadly at him, "Good evening Sam!"
They shook hands; Harry wore his dreadful look seconds later.
"Harry! What's wrong?"
Harry forced a smile, a rather deceptive one.
"I'm here to warn you!" He said, "Desist from Juliet!"
"But I love her..."
"Do you know why I'm warning you instead of beating you up right now? It's because you're my course rep, and not only that, but I envy you. You are easy going, and of course, handsome."
He heaved a sigh before adding, “My respect for you will soon disappear into thin air if you don't let the girl be... She's my prey!"
"No, no! Please don't hurt the girl. She's innocent. She's going through a lot; she's only putting on a brave front."
"To be fore-warned is to be fore-harmed!" The guys chorused.
"I’ve warned you, Sam."
Sam watched the four guys leave. He sighed. What is he going to do now?
After the day's tutorial by Sam to Juliet and two others, Sam asked for a reply, with regards to his proposal. Juliet replied that she was still thinking about it.
Sam shrugged. Later, he told her of Harry's threats and she got furious over it.
"What exactly does he think he is? Is he that insane?"
"Juliet, Harry is not one you can be angry with."
"Now tell me, is he God?"
"But what!? Are you asking me to give my body to that asshole?" She flared.
"No, but things will only worsen this way."
"Which other way can I go with this?" she asked. "Sam, I begged him, and I'm sure you also did, so which other way?"
Sam went dumb for a minute.
"Threat for threat, I'll threaten that bastard too!"
"Juliet, you have to be careful with him, he's dangerous."
"Now you sound just like my friends. Are you that sissy?” she asked.
She added, “He goes on having his way because none of those girls fought him back in the first place."
Juliet walked up to the gang the following day after the day's lecture. Harry and his friends sat together on benches with some girls.
"Juliet!" Harry called.
She gave a stern look.
"Harry, what exactly is your problem? Why are you bent on ruining my life?"
The group looked anxiously at her.
"Harry, please let me be for Christ's sake. Let Sam be! Stop threatening him."
Harry smiled as he stood up to her, "You don't know what I have in store for you."
"And I don't even want to know. Harry, let me be or else you won't like what I'll do. If you threaten him again, I'll let you feel what regret is."
"Are you threatening me?"
"Just as you did."
"I warned you earlier. You told me you didn't have a boyfriend."
"Now that I have chosen to have one, will you be able to stop me?”
"Let's wait and see!"
"Harry, this is going to be your last, I repeat…. Your last!"
"Well, you're not the first to be this combative. Let's see if you'll still be like this as events unfold between us."
"Just dare try any stupid thing, that’s when you'll know the kind of a girl I am. You shameless thing!"
"Aha!" Others chorused.
Harry took her by the neck, "How dare you sickly..."
"Harry, let her go!" James, one of his guys said.
Harry let go off her and Juliet slapped him in the face.
"You murderer! You'll regret this!"
She walked away angrily.
